Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson fibbed his way into radio at sixteen, then bounced from station to station throughout the southeast before landing in Los Angeles where he spent the next twenty-five years at KLOS radio. During those successful years, Mark starred in the Adventures of Mark and Brian on NBC television, was twice named Billboard Magazine’s air personality of the year, and received the Marconi radio award, an Emmy award, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Mark was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in October 2020. Mark has also written several screenplays, from which two were produced. Mark has now written about all of this in his memoir, Don’t Bump the Record, Kid, available on Amazon.
